In 2003, she returned to law when she joined Scott, Clawater & Houston as an Associate.

She is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and the U.S. Southern District of Texas and is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association.
Active in the Houston community, Ms. Freeman has volunteered with HISD, the Houston-area Girl Scouts, and has served on the Bellaire Parks & Recreation Board.
